Registration Overview

Registration will begin October 1st. The priority registration period will end November 1st. Registration will close December 1st, 2009. Country Assignments will be sent out by December 15th. As exciting and innovative as our committees have been in the past, this year our creative staff has really gone above and beyond! Our registration process is completed online through our website.

Your first step in registering for WMIDMUN is filling out the online registration form. You should be prepared to enter the number of delegates you plan to bring to WMIDMUN, and to select several country preferences (we will do our best to assign you to at least one of your country preferences). There are two fields on the registration page for entering the number of delegates you plan to bring. The first one is for the total number, including advanced delegates. The second field is for entering the number of advanced delegates only. You will also have to select a user name and password to log into the system in the future.

Then you will be given a chance to confirm the information you have entered, and if you confirm it, your registration information will be automatically added to our system and you will receive a confirmation email from a secretariat member shortly afterwards.

After you have completed the form, you will be able to log onto our web site's Review Registration page to submit changes, add or drop delegates, and access research information such as background guides. Your registration is not confirmed, however, until your registration deposit is received. An invoice and/or receipt may be printed from this website after logging in.

Your school will also be added to our mailing list and you will receive emails from our Director of Administration, Registration, and Finance to keep you updated with the latest news about the conference. If you would like to sign up for this mailing list prior to registering for the conference, please go to the Email Sign Up page and enter your name, your school affiliation, and your email address.

A very important note: Each country is not necessarily on every committee. Some committees, including General Assemblies, have a specific number and set roster of countries. Please keep this in mind while ranking your country preferences. Once countries are assigned a detailed committee/country matrix will be available for your viewing online.

Fees: The WMIDMUN payment policy requires that the entire school fee and half of the delegate fees be paid by registration close on December 1st, 2009. The remainder of the fees must be paid in full on the first day of the conference, February 20th, 2010. The school fee is not refundable under any circumstance. The WMIDMUN Secretariat must be notified by February 1st, 2010 of any dropped delegates in order to receive a half refund. All fees paid for delegates dropped after the February 1st deadline will no longer be eligible for a refund. In the event that an entire delegation can not participate in the conference, our Chargée d'Affaires, , must be notified by February 1st, 2010; consequentially, the school will receive half of the amount of delegate fees owed as a refund but the school fee remains non-refundable. For more information on our fees policy, view the Fees page.

If you have any problems with online registration, please contact our Director of Technology, . If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Chargée d'Affaires, !
