Secretary-General

emerson rosenthal-king

Emerson Rosenthal-King is a junior from Los Angeles, California, majoring in Government and minoring in History. He first became involved with MUN in high school when he traveled as a delegate. Since coming to William & Mary, Emerson has been an active member of the International Relations Club. He has staffed WMHSMUN, WMIDMUN, and &MUN. During WMIDMUN XXI, he kept in touch with sponsors as Registration Director. Outside of IRC, Emerson is involved with multiple organizations, including the Young Democrats. In his spare time, Emerson enjoys a good book, movies of any genre, and grabbing coffee with friends. Along with the rest of Secretariat, Emerson is thrilled to welcome everyone to WMIDMUN XXII!




Director-General

Lily butler

Lily Butler is a senior from Clarksville, Tennessee, majoring in Government and minoring in Business Analytics. She has been involved with Model UN ever since she began competing at conferences during her sophomore year of high school. At William & Mary, Lily has been active in the International Relations Club, competing in the collegiate circuit and directing committees for high school Model UN conferences. She served as Director General for WMIDMUN XXI. Lily also sings in the Barksdale Treble Chorus and has worked as a Research Assistant with AidData, tracking Chinese development finance. In her free time, she enjoys walks in Colonial Williamsburg, coffee breaks, listening to country music, and spending time with friends. Lily is so excited to welcome delegates to campus for WMIDMUN XXII!








Registration Director

hannah ray

​​Hannah Ray is a junior from Richmond, Virginia double majoring in Government and Russian and Post-Soviet Studies. She got involved with Model UN right here at William & Mary, traveling as a delegate, volunteering for the Service Team, and staffing conferences before joining the WMIDMUN XXII Secretariat as Registration Director. Outside of IRC, Hannah is a Research Fellow at the International Justice Lab, plays balalaika for the Eastern European Instrumental and Vocal Ensemble, and studied abroad this summer in Vilnius, Lithuania. In her free time, Hannah enjoys watching and reviewing movies or taking walks around campus. She is incredibly excited to welcome everyone to WMIDMUN XXII!


Chief of Staff

Annabelle Glassman

Annabelle Glassman is a sophomore from Richmond, Virginia majoring in Government. Annabelle first got involved in Model UN as an eighth grader and has been active in the William & Mary International Relations Club since her freshman year. She is excited to be a part of WMIDMUN for a second year as Chief of Staff after her amazing experience as Chief of Staff for WMIDMUN XXI. Outside of Model UN and IRC, Annabelle serves as Webmaster of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and is a Copy Editor for The Flat Hat, William & Mary’s student newspaper. In her free time, she loves playing Scrabble, walking around Williamsburg, and drinking coffee from various coffee shops around town. Annabelle cannot wait to welcome delegates and sponsors to WMIDMUN XXII!


Under Secretary-General for General Assemblies

brandon buchanan

Brandon Buchanan is a freshman from Fairfax, Virginia majoring in Government. Brandon has been involved in Model UN since seventh grade, and later served as Training Lead and Under-Secretary-General in high school. Since coming to William & Mary, Brandon has been an active member of the International Relations Club. He directed a Specialized Agency committee at WMHSMUN XXXVII, and is Under-Secretary-General of General Assemblies at WMIDMUN XXII. Outside of the International Relations Club, Brandon is involved with the Filipino-American Student Association, the Asian American Student Initiative, and Radio. He loves to write for his blog and read philosophy, and you can often catch him at a café doing both. Brandon wants to extend a warm welcome to delegates for WMIDMUN XXII!




Under Secretary-General for Regional Assemblies and Specialized Agencies

rachel Rofman

Rachel Rofman is a junior from Gainesville, Virginia, majoring in English and minoring in Anthropology. Her introduction to MUN was her Sophomore Fall, when she joined W&M’s International Relations Club. Since then, she has been a Crisis Staffer for WMHSMUN XXXVI, Director for WMIDMUN XXI, and active member of IRC as Head Deputy for On-Campus Affairs. Rachel is also a part of of W&M’s Club Archery team, the WM Review Art & Literary Journal, an intern at the Muscarelle Museum, and a shift manager at The Meadows Original Frozen Custard! When she isn’t MUNing, she loves figure skating, painting, trivial pursuit, and using her air fryer! Rachel is WMIDHYPED for WMIDMUN XXII!!








Under Secretary-General for Crisis Committees

Carter Danto

Carter Danto is a sophomore from Westerly, RI and is an International Relations major. Since his freshman year, he has been an active member of the International Relations Club. He has traveled with the William & Mary Model UN team and served as Under-Secretary General of General Assemblies for WMIDMUN XXI, in addition to staffing WMHSMUN XXXVI. He is always impressed with the growth and diplomacy shown by the delegates at WMIDMUN. Outside of the IRC, Carter is an officer of the Alexander Hamilton Society. He enjoys reading and writing in his free time. He is so excited to welcome everyone to WMIDMUN XXII!




Director of Public Relations

Connor gold

Connor Gold is a sophomore from Marblehead, Massachusetts, majoring in Marketing and Film. He has been doing MUN since his freshman year of high school and is an active member of the club’s travel team. Connor served as a chair for last year’s WMIDMUN and loved seeing the collaboration, debate, and diplomacy of his committee and this inspired him to join the conference’s Secretariat. When Connor is not devising outlandish arcs, he is a member of the college's club rugby and tennis teams. In his free time, Connor likes to play basketball, watch movies, and compete in Jeopardy (from the couch). Connor is thrilled for his first Secretariat and excited to welcome everyone to WMIDMUN XXII in the Spring! 


Director of Conference Development

Taly leibowitz

Taly Leibowitz is a junior from Richmond, Virginia majoring in Psychology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Public Health. Her first MUN experience was attending WMIDMUN as a delegate in both 2016 and 2017! She got involved again upon coming to William & Mary, directing committees for both WMIDMUN and the high school conference, WMHSMUN. She loved seeing all of the delegates have fun while learning about MUN and working together. Outside of MUN, Taly enjoys being a member of multiple organizations on campus beyond IRC, including W&M’s Modern Dance Company, Orchesis, Camp Kesem, and working in a research lab. In her free time, Taly loves listening to music and taking walks with friends. Taly is overjoyed to welcome everyone to WMIDMUN XXII!
